Mongol

The monumental film by the Russian director Sergei Bodrov tells about youth and advancement of the young Temudgin, who became one of the most legendary tribe leaders in the history as Dschinghis Khan. Apart from impressive fight sequences, the movie excels in the quiet moments depicting the great love Temudgin feels for the Mongolian girl named Borte.

A specialist team of the studio »Couleur & Co.« took on the »aging«, i.e. specific treatment of about five hundred costumes displaying the time, climate, wear and tear. Therefore, the team was on spot in a Beijing film studio for ample preparatory works for the film.
